The PETsys data acquisition software now processes events while the measurement is in progress and displays the results live, so you no longer have to wait for an acquisition to finish and be processed before knowing whether the system is behaving. A new monitoring window shows event rates and detector occupancy broken down by port, FEB/D, chip and channel, alongside charge and energy spectra for raw, singles, group and coincidence data — all updating continuously and selectable without restarting the run. Dead or hot channels, non-uniform illumination and misplaced energy thresholds become visible within seconds, making setup, commissioning and source positioning considerably faster. Monitoring samples the data stream and tunes itself automatically to the incoming rate, so it never comes at the cost of the acquisition itself. Available from v2026.09.30.
